A new beginning...And a spring giveaway

 This morning, as i woke up, made coffee and lit a fire to warm up the house, i peeked outside, hoping today would be sunny. To my delight, i heard the sound of spring birds chirping happily. At last, spring is really on it's way ! We do have a lot of snow left on the ground, but it is melting very quickly and we can see some tiny patches of grass ! What joy ! Winter was long, but we must not complain. For all of us who enjoy going out and play, it was the perfect winter. But now that it is almost over and that spring is all around us, we are all happy to greet the new season.
Before i go on, i would like to thank all of you, my dear and sweet readers, who were so kind to leave wonderful and cheerful comments on my last post. I am really sorry if i have neglected responding, but soon i will take the time to visit and say hello. I am feeling much better everyday. My scar is healing very well and i can go about and do little chores such as cooking and do the laundry. I have spent many hours resting, knitting and doing some crochet. I will show my new socks and ripple blanket a bit later. I love my happy socks and beautiful ripple blanket ♥

Giveaway winner

I was supposed to announce the winner of my giveaway last friday, but to my dismay, i could not have access to my blog account. I tried any way i could, but in vain. There was a bug and there was nothing i could do. This problem lasted for over a week and i almost panicked, thinking i was losing my blog. 
Alas! An angel had pity on me and all is going on fine for the moment.  So, many many apologies for this little unwanted delay to all of you my dearies. Now let the fun begin, i think you waited long enough .

Birthday and giveaway

I cannot beleive a whole month went by since my last post. I do apologize for such long silence, i do hope some of you did not think i was kidnapped by some E.T. fellows.No, no! I am still here ! I know i do not have many excuses even if  i was so busy with my sewing and family matters, All of us have busy schedules and many of you, wonderful ladies, find time to take care of your lovely blogs So i am bending on my knees and ask for your forgiveness...No? this is not enough ?.............ok......Let's say...What if i make a giveaway? will you guys forgive me ? Peleaaaaaazzzzzzz ? .....Still pouting eh?...hum....You know what ? tomorrow is my birthday and since i am so spoiled rotten, hubby and daughter Maude ( Anne is gone on a stage for her coast guard summer job ) are going to sing me " Happy birthday " tonight ! And i am not really sure what hubby is up to, but he's been hiding something in his "atelier " and ordered me not to go peek. Every day of this week, as he returned from work, he would run down in the basement. I tried to listen...But silence. o_o.... What is he up to ? I have a clue, but i may be wrong, so i will let you know next week.
Now! we are up for some serious matters. This giveaway thing is for real. Since it is my birthday tomorrow, i thought to myself " what better way to celebrate than to make a giveaway ? and maybe get achance to be forgiven ? "

Now i must go packing 'cause tomorrow morning we are going sailing for the week end. ( that is the real reason why hubby wanted to celebrate my birthday tonight )
