I want to take a little moment and wish everyone a very merry christmas. The year went by so quickly, another christmas is here and this time hubby did not have to go away from home. We saw on the news that the east coast of the US had been hit by a huge snowstorm and i crossed my fingers that Hydro Quebec would not have to leave again. I am just finishing wrapping and knitting last minute gifts and will bake some more cookies( gingerbread, crakles and shortbread) this afternoon. Thursday, the girls will be home with me, making doughnuts and sweet breads. I think Christmas Eve is the moment i prefer. After a whole day of baking, the girls will run to their rooms and unwrap their new jammies ( me too ! ) and we will sit in the living room eating goodies, playing games or watching a christmas movie. I love this cozy happy moment admiring our tree and listening to the crackling of the fire in the fireplace.
I hope you will all spend a wonderful time with your loved ones. Savor every moment.

swap goodies

I swapped once and it was really fun and nice to share something with someone else. Unfortunately, i lost track with this nice lady living somewhere in the USA. Than i swapped with Anna
and it was really, really special. Swapping is fun, especially if you still keep in touch with the person. I became very fond of Anna and i hope we can be real friends even if we are miles apart. I received her package way before i managed to send mine to her and i always meant to show you what delightful goodies she gave me. Here are all the lovely things i received from this oh ,so lovely friend.

I love the little birdie keychain she made, look at the sweet tea bag holder and you should smell the bag of "herbe de provence" and the tea !!! I did not taste the tea yet, simply because i love the package just the way it is and the smell invaded my studio, it is heavenly ! Soon i will have to indulge in a nice cup of tea in one of my best cup. Sorry, the chocolate is all gone, not one crumb remains, it was so yummy. And look at the sweet house she made. Isn't that ever adorable ? I hung it in a special place of my studio, so whenever i am there working, i can admire this adorable house and think of her. I feel privileged and very happy to have met her. Thank you Anna, you are a sweetheart!
I know, i was not suppose to blog, but to concentrate on some work. I'm going, I'm going !

Spring giveaway !!!

As promised, here are the pretty pencil case i have been working on last week. I am quite satisfied with the results and to celebrate the spring season, i decided i would give away one of those lovely case.

I call them pencil case, but these lovely cases would be perfect to carry your scissors, your favorites DPN'S, your paint brushes or even your reading glasses.

All you have to do is put a comment in my blog, you can even mention which one you prefer and on April 1st, i will announce the winner of this giveaway. The winner will be allowed one case of her ( or his ) choice.
As an extra gift, i will fill the case with some goodies, but that will remain a secret. The winner may show her little secret gift in her blog later when she receives her giveaway.
